SUMMER SCHOOL

On May 22, the Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University hosted an event as part of the Summer School. The event was implemented within the European Union Erasmus+ project Jean Monnet Module “Integration of European Values into Ukrainian Education, Science and Sport” (EVUESS).

The guest of honor was Andrii Zaplitnyi, a faculty graduate, a world championship medalist, European champion, and champion of the European Karate Games. He shared his sports career and emphasized the importance of European values in modern sports.

The school participants learned about important VR technologies for modern education, science, and sports. Students were actively involved in the demonstrations and had the opportunity to try these technologies in practice.

The project coordinator, Associate Professor Yaroslav Galan, emphasized the importance of using VR technologies in all areas of the educational and extracurricular process and spoke about integrating European values through sports.

The project team, professors Yaroslav Zoriy, Yuriy Moseychuk, and Yan Kapranov, emphasized the importance of such meetings involving famous athletes and the use of innovative technologies in education, science, and sports.

Under the guidance of the faculty's students, Inna Pavliuk and Maksym Zrybnev, president of the public organization Kaputsyn, a karate demonstration was held by their students.

The students tried VR technologies and participated in exercises and other sports activities as part of the summer school.

The Summer School offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge and experience, promotes intercultural dialogue and understanding of European values. We provide an excellent platform for networking, professional growth and development of creative ideas.

This event has become a vivid example of the successful integration of European values into Ukrainian education, science, and sports. We are grateful to all participants and guests for their active participation and enthusiasm!
