On June 12, Yuri Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University held a ceremony to award certificates to participants of the Summer School, which was organized as part of the European Union's Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module project "Integration of European Values into Ukrainian Education, Science, and Sports" (EVUESS), co-funded by the European Union.

The school aimed to improve the professional level of participants and deepen their knowledge, skills, and abilities in implementing European values in the domestic education system, science, and sports. Throughout the training period, participants attended a series of expert lectures, took part in practical sessions and meetings with specialists, prepared their own projects, and joined initiatives that contributed to strengthening Ukraine's value space.

Professor Iryna Osovska, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International and Humanitarian Activities, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the uniqueness of the project: the university is the coordinator of the Jean Monnet initiative, which is extremely important in today's conditions. She also stressed that it is thanks to such initiatives that the university is confidently integrating into a single European educational space, affirming the values of democracy, human dignity, and academic freedom as an integral part of its development.

Project coordinator, Associate Professor Yaroslav Galan, emphasized the importance of the knowledge and practices acquired by the participants, which will contribute to the further implementation of European standards in professional activities. He noted that the school has become an effective mechanism for spreading European values among young people.

Anastasia Simakhova, First Deputy Chair of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and professor at the State Non-Profit Enterprise "State University" Kyiv Aviation Institute," gave a presentation on the integration of European values into Ukrainian science. In her report, she emphasized the importance of integrating European values into the domestic scientific space and the modern challenges accompanying this process.

The participants were also welcomed by members of the project team, Professors Yaroslav Zoriy and Yan Kapranov, who noted the importance of involving young people in the European integration process through interdisciplinary education.

The participants of the school were students, master's and doctoral students of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation. The program of events was held in a mixed format, which allowed combining offline participation with interactive online modules.

The final event was the presentation of personalized certificates to each participant, confirming their active participation and successful mastery of the school's materials.

This school has become not only an educational initiative but also a powerful tool for shaping European thinking, engaging young people in active citizenship, and building a democratic society.
