Integration of European Values in the fields of Ukrainian Education, Science, and Sports

On October 26, the presentation of the international project Erasmus+ module Jean Monnet: "Integration of European values into Ukrainian education, science, and sports" took place in the blue hall of the Chernivtsi National University, named after Yury Fedkovich.

The project's primary goal is to study the experience of the EU in the implementation of European values in the fields of education, science, and sports. On this basis, it is planned to develop winter and summer schools and prepare and publish recommendations for the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Target groups: students, teachers, scientists, civil servants, politicians, representatives of public organizations. Key initiatives were introduced at the project presentation. The team behind its implementation was trained, and everyone had the opportunity to express their thoughts and suggestions.

Congratulatory remarks were made by the rector of the Chernivtsi National University named after Yury Fedkovich, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Roman Petryshyn; manager of the Jean Monet area from the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine, Petro Kraynik. Heorhiy Postevka performed the National Anthem of Ukraine, and the collective team of the faculty from "Cheerleading" under the leadership of Candidate of Science in Physical Education and Sports Olena Moroz performed a demonstration performance.

Project coordinator, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Yaroslav Galan introduced the team and outlined the main tasks. Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Yaroslav Zorii, and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Yuriy Moseychuk, talked about opportunities for students. Doctor of Philological Sciences professor Jan Kapranov emphasized the importance of integrating European values into the modern educational process of students.

Students, future physical education teachers, and scientists attended the project presentation.
