As part of the implementation of the international Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module project “Integration of European Values into Ukrainian Education, Science and Sports” (EVUESS), co-funded by the European Union, a guest lecture was held at the University of Seville dedicated to promoting European values in Ukrainian education, science, and sports.
During the event, the activities of the EVUESS project, coordinated by Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, were presented. Participants learned about the main areas of the team’s work, international cooperation, educational initiatives, training sessions, scientific events, and activities aimed at fostering democratic values, academic integrity, inclusion, and European culture in Ukrainian society.
The lecture was delivered by the EVUESS project coordinator, Candidate of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, and Associate Professor Yaroslav Galan. During his presentation, he outlined the key results of the project, showcased the educational and research materials developed, and introduced participants to practical tools for integrating European values into education, research, and sports. The discussion portion of the event drew particular interest, during which Yaroslav Galan answered questions from students and faculty at the University of Seville regarding the specifics of implementing European values in Ukraine and the prospects for further international cooperation.
Special attention was paid to the role of universities in developing a modern educational environment and strengthening Ukraine’s European integration through education, science, and sports. The event became an excellent platform for international dialogue, exchange of experience, and establishing new partnerships between Ukrainian and European higher education institutions.
The EVUESS guest lecture at the University of Seville once again confirmed the importance of international cooperation and joint efforts in spreading European values among young people.
