On February 21, 2025, an important working meeting was held within the framework of the European Union's Erasmus+ project , the Jean Monnet module, entitled “Integration of European Values into Ukrainian Education, Science and Sport / EVUESS”.
The project has been implemented for the second year at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation and continues its strategic task of adapting European approaches to the Ukrainian educational system.
The meeting brought together the project team: project coordinator, associate professor Yaroslav Halan, professor Yuriy Moseychuk, professor Yaroslav Zoria, and professor Yan Kapranov.
During the meeting, ambitious plans for 2025 were presented, including innovative activities aimed at promoting European values in education, science, and sports.
Particular attention was paid to preparations for the Winter School, which is a key element of the project. This event promises to become a platform for discussing European approaches to education, science, and sports, as well as for analyzing methods of their adaptation to Ukrainian realities. Intensive lectures and workshops will allow participants to better understand the principles of European integration and develop effective strategies for their implementation.
The Winter School will open its doors to new participants, becoming a unique platform for acquiring new knowledge, sharing experiences and generating ideas for integrating European values in Ukraine. We aim to create an inspirational and productive environment that will contribute to strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union.
The school will be held from February 27 to March 7, 2025 in a mixed format at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation.
The implementation of such initiatives is an important step in the process of European integration, as they help to form an educated, democratic society that shares the European values of freedom, equality and human rights.
